Storytelling at EUPHA conference in Stockholm

Martine Bouman was invited by the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and Environment (RIVM) to deliver a keynote  on “Storytelling makes health statistics more accessible” at a special panel session on November 3rd at the 10th European Public Health Conference in Stockholm.

Other panelist were Clarissa Simas of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK) and Kari Johansen of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). The panel session was chaired by Ekdahl (ECDC) and Aura Timen (EUPHA/Infection Disease Control).

During her presentation Martine pleaded for using popular media and storytelling formats to make statistic data and health issues more accessible for vulnerable groups in society.
